CNet’s Visual User Interface

Long a chronicler of innovation and news in the technology world, CNet now has a mindmap-like user interface to demonstrate how articles are linked together conceptually. I don’t know if the underlying technology is javascript, similar to The Brain (below), or a modified flash actionscript. Either way it acknowledges the need to orient users in both space and context. I can’t wait until surfing the web is more like swimming in a coral reef!
